OUR CLASSES

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

WOD

The Workout of the Day is our traditional CrossFit class. Coach led warm-up, mobility and skill instruction to prepare you for the workout. Our coaches are engaged throughout the entire class to monitor your form and motivate your performance.

OPEN GYM

Can’t make it during one of our regularly scheduled classes? Not a problem. Have a workout in mind you would like to do or piece of equipment you would like to learn more about? Great. Come on in and work with a coach to keep you moving in the right direction towards your fitness goals.

COACH MEET UPS

This is a complimentary meeting with a coach to discuss goals, answer questions about our methodology and any other concerns you might have. Schedule a meet up here.

OPEN ACCESS

We pride ourselves on providing as much opportunity and flexibility as possible to our members. These blocks of time enable members to utilize our facility and equipment as you wish.

HIIT (HIGH-INTENSITY 
INTERVAL TRAINING)

Interval style training featuring bodyweight, plyometrics, cardio and lighter weights to keep your heart rate up, body and mind guessing while making you sweat and experience a total body workout. A compact formula to become leaner and fitter perfect for any ability level.

TRAIN WITH US

This specialty program provides athletes with the opportunity to train for a specific effort/ event. Participants of this group will commit to a specific training program with a coach to keep them accountable and working towards their goal event. Past programs have included training for a marathon, the Ragnar Relay trail run, the Crash B’s rowing race, a Powerlifting meet and a triathlon.

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING

The foundation of health, fitness and performance is proper nutrition. Nutritional Counseling is available to create an individual plan based on your lifestyle and goals to ensure you are maximizing your health, performance and body composition.

PERSONAL TRAINING

This is a service that provides the opportunity to work one on one with a coach. This may be to spend time learning/ refining a specific skill or a chance to spend time on a specific goal.

INDIVIDUAL GUIDANCE

This add-on provides individuals with specific guidance as they work through the class programming. They will still participate in class but with direction and modifications for what they need to work on as it relates to their athleticism and making progress.

The day I stepped into CrossFit Morristown, everything changed. The coaches ability to teach proper mechanics and movements have improved my results in strength, flexibility, and stamina from the start. CrossFit Morristown is all about the people, the community, the atmosphere, the friendships, the coaching.... And that is all before the wod even starts!

What is CrossFit to me? It's too hard to describe what it means to me- but there is a poem which I try to read everyday to make me a better person that comes as close as possible. The poem is IF by Rudyard Kipling. Please read it in its entirety if you can, it is fantastic .... Here is one of my favorite parts:

'If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"'

Those 4 lines capture CrossFit.... Maybe that is it then.... I read the poem IF to try and be a better person and I do CrossFit to try and make myself a better person.

Rolf inspired Body Work

David Thatcher is a Rolf inspired body worker who has been helping clients overcome chronic pain and achieve their goals since 2007.
He received his training under the guidance of Chuck CArpenter from The School of Integrative Therapy.
The primary goals of his work are to find improper structural holding patterns in a persons connective tissue.  With the use of knuckles, fists, elbows, and some grit he balances the patterns and brings consistent and appropriate tone to a clients fascia thus maximizing range of motion and alleviating pain.
The work is intense but so are the results.
